Notes for burning incense and use of coal
The Charcoal is first ignited over a flame. Ideal are special lighters or a candle flame. If you want to ignite the coal over a candle that Charcoal is picked up with a burning incense pliers and held over the flame.
After the charcoal begins to glow, it is placed in a Bakhour holder or other fireproof vessel.
After about 10-15 minutes, the coal is burned and now the Bakhour, the resins, herbs or incense is placed and the smoking process can begin. In order to reduce the heat of the coals you can place some sand on the coal. This is recommended for burning incense with herbs.
After smoking, please ventilate the area.
Safety Notice: During fumigation very high temperatures can occur. The incense burners can become very hot. There is risk of fire. Gloves and fireproof vessel are recommended. Keep Animals and children always away.
Please do not leave unattended while in use.
